mail notification with content info

Hi,
I want to define a workflow that sends a mail when a new content is added in a space. That´s easy, but I would like the mail to provide the name of the file added and if possible more data such as the date when was added, size, etc… Is that possible? any hint to do it?

You can just use the space rules to send an email. When you specify your rule use the notify_user_email.ftl template that looks like this


A new document '${document.name}', is available in the '${space.name}' space, it was added by '${person.properties.firstName}<#if person.properties.lastName?exists> ${person.properties.lastName}</#if>'.

You can find that template in Company Home > Data Dictionary > Email Templates if you want to amend it or just create a copy in there to create your own. For those other properties you want have a look at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/JavaScript_API#ScriptNode_API.
