CIFS/WebDAV show different content than Sandbox

I have been able to configure CIFS and WebDAv for Labs 3 on Ubuntu. I can upload a file and see it in both CIFS and WebDAV, but I can not see it in my Sandbox. Likewise, any file in my sandbox I can not see in CIFS or WebDAV. Am I missing something? :shock:

It might be because of

By default the virtualization view filters out workflow preview and author preview sandboxes/stores, and only shows the web project store and author store for the logged in user. If the user is a content manager on one or more web projects then all author sandboxes will be shown. For the admin user all sandboxes are shown.

I have made some progress, but of course it just raises new questions.

I discovered that I was looking in the wrong filesystem using CIFS. I have two configured in my file-servers-custom.xml as shown below. The first is a 'filesystem' called 'Alfresco', and the second is a 'avmfilesystem' called 'AVM'. If i use CIFS to look in 'AVM', I will see all my content of the Web Project. If I use CIFS to look in 'Alfresco', I do not see the content of my Web Project. If I add content to 'AVM' via CIFS, then I see it in the web interface under web projects. If I add content via 'Alfresco' to web projects, I do not see it in the web interface. I should clarify that this issue only applies to Web Projects. If I place content in 'Alfresco' via CIFS in a non-web project folder, I CAN see it in the web interface.

Is this a config issue or is this the way it works for Web Projects?
