CIFS authentication

In a User Home space when a user clicks the Open Network Folder icon for CIFS , which is beside the space name, first it asks for user id/password. Can it possible to bypass this user authentication since the user is already logged in to the application???

In certain situations (ie. your users are running Windows PCs and those PCs are authenticating against Active Directory) you can configure Single Sign On across both the Web Client and CIFS (and WebDAV, Web Scripts). This is done using NTLM based authentication, which is described at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Configuring_NTLM.
