Error connecting to the virtualization server

Hi,

  I am using the following:
 
  alfresco-community-2.90B-Setup.exe
  alfresco-community-wcm-2.1.0.zip
 
 
  I was doing the samples at WCM 2_1 Product Evaluation Guide.pdf.
 
  When I started the virtualization server in order to preview the website,
  I am getting the following error in the alfresco tomcat server console( not the virtualization server console):
 
  12:42:31,395  ERROR [alfresco.mbeans.VirtServerRegistry] Could not connect to virtualization server: service:jmx:rmi://ignored/jndi/rmi://127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net:50501/alfresco/jmxrmi
 
  I get this error continuously every 4 or 5 seconds. I made sure the RMI ports remain unblocked. I am using Windows XP. Also, I ran the virtualization server as a service.
 
  Is there anything I should do? I checked the related posts and wasnt able to find any  specific solutions. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Sara,

  Do you have the instructions for performing the installation on a Linux, the Alfresco Installation Guide is vague at best with attempting to do this in Linux,
unless you can direct me to a link elsewhere for reading.  I've performed the JDK and Alfresco package installation, but cannot view anything via the url
