We have a customer that wants a production deployment of Alfresco. The problem is that he wants it on Sun machines with SPARC architecture, Solaris 8-9, and WebLogic 8.1 or 9.

In my company, we have some experience with Sun AMD64/RedHat AS/JBoss or Tomcat

Hi Jdesto,

I have just recently installed Alfresco on Solaris 9 64bit/ SPARC. Its running on a dev box (an old Ultra 60).
I'm using MySQL 4.0.16, Tomcat 5.5 and JDK 1.5_05.
I downloaded the Alfresco 1.0 and Tomcat bundle, and it worked straight away.

I'm also trying to get it running on Solaris 10 64bit on X64 (AMD). Having some trouble at the moment, but I'm pretty sure its network or MySQL connectivity thats causing the problem.
