Forcing a redeploy

Hi,

I tried to do some stuff with workflows and had a corrupt file, that has been removed in the meantime. But somehow, the task and model definition still is stuck somewhere, because whenever I try to do something workflow-related I get this error message:

org.alfresco.service.namespace.NamespaceException: Namespace prefix uzwf is not mapped to a namespace URI‍

Is there a way to remove this? To force a redeploy so that old definitions disappear ? I cannot do anything anymore that is workflow related. It is pretty annoying !

Alfresco is a great product and I am evaluating differents aspects of it for a possible use in our company. But I find that workflows are not that well documented…

Did you try a restart? Seems to be the ultimate way of getting rid of "ghost" definitions from the model files.

Your workflow is still deployed and its dependent on a namespace which has now been removed. So, you need to restore the model definition, so you can continue.

To remove the workflow definition, it needs to be undeployed. This can be done with the Workflow Console using the undeploy command. See

Be also aware of the fact that tasks of workflows that are still "on their way" use the old workflow definitions and do not get the new workflow definition after a new deploy! After changing the workflow definition all running tasks that were started using the "old" version of the workflow should be deleted and a new workflow must be started on the documents in order to be able to use the new workflow!
In fact when you delete models and there are still tasks on the way based on these models it may become awesome to go on with the running jobs or delete files when there are no-longer-existing aspects attached to them.

We're adding more support for administering models etc such as making modifications without reboot, not allowing deletion of models which are being used etc

OK, I can undeploy definitions, but only if there is no Namespace error. Cause when there is error, i cannot use any of those commands:
show definitos
undeploy definitions etc…

The only way to fix this is to reinstall alfresco. And there is my question: Is there any other way to undeploy process definitions? I dont know, maybe by deleting some files etc?
