How do you sort by title in a freemarker template?
What works for name doesn't work for title.

<#list node.children?sort_by(["properties","title"]) as child>‍

results in

Error during processing of the template '?sort_by(…) failed: The "title" subvariable (specified by ?sort_by argument number 2) was not found.'. ‍

I also tried "cm:title" and "{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}title" and they also through a subvariable not found error.

The correct format is:

?sort_by(['properties','cm:title'])‍

However, Freemarker is very intolerant of missing values, so you'll get an exception if any of the search results don't have the title property set.

If this is a webscript, you can sort the nodes first in javascript then present that to the Freemarker template to render.
