How to use content templates for a new site?

I have already installed Alfresco and Alfresco WCM (uncompressed both of them in C:\Alfresco and moved bootstrap file to the right place).
This is working fine up to now.
Can anyone tell me what should I do from now one?
I just want to use contents like this:

<%@ taglib uri="/tld/html_basic.tld" prefix="h" %>
<%@ taglib uri="/tld/repo.tld" prefix="r" %>

<html>
 <body>
 
 <f:view>
   <h:form>
     <r:template template="/shared/templates/thumbs.ftl" />
   </h:form>
 </f:view>
 
 </body>
</html>
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

where thumbs.ftl is a template got from Alfresco templates tutorial.
Can anyone help me please?

Nobody faced the same problem?

I can preview a simpler content like this:

 <body>
   Hello world!
 </body>
</html>
‍‍‍‍‍‍

But when something like the one in  the last post crashes virtual-tomcat.

Everytime I start virtual-tomcat, it says:

And a lot more errors.

Please, help!
