Workflow properties in Freemarker

I have a need for a report of all current active workflows, who is initiator and the current owner, context doc etc. As far as I can see the existing dashlets are not sufficent.
I am sure a Lucene search and some Freemarker magic should do the trick. I am just wondering what property of what object to use in my Lucene query. How can I retrieve the Process-defintion, and/or the related tasks? I cannot find a suitable combination of object/property that actually returns any result, studying the various models (cm, bpm).

Anyone a good idea?? Or even better, a working Lucene-query?

That kind of report can't yet be done with freemarker - the task lists are restricted to my tasks etc.  However, in HEAD, a new workflow javascript api has been added allowing more complex workflow queries.  This is the way forward.

Our lucene integration currently only indexes stuff held in our proprietary schema.  All workflow definition & process data is held in a JBPM schema, therefore not covered by lucene.

Otherwise, if you need something for 2.1, you have to fallback to Java and use the WorkflowService API.
