Alfresco not redirecting to login page

Hi,

when I call the "http://192.168.0.152:8080/alfresco" page for the first time
I get an exception:

javax.faces.FacesException: Cannot get value for expression '#{NavigationBean.toolbarLocation}'
caused by:
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Cannot get value for expression '#{NavigationBean.toolbarLocation}'
caused by:
javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: Cannot get value for expression '#{NavigationBean.toolbarLocation}'

javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: Exception getting value of property toolbarLocation of base of type : org.alfresco.web.bean.NavigationBean

now I click on 'logout' and then I am able to login - entering my credentials - with no errors.

What do I need to do to avoid this error?

Hi there,
I found out that it has something to do with the fact that I compiled the head from svn into my tomcat.

I tried today to configure the alfrewsco-tomcat-bundle-2-9-0B for NTLM and it worked fine.

Then I checked out the head revision from the svn and built it with the ant build.xml - that means it deploys also the war file to my tomcat - and then I get a lot of strange errors that i didn't get before
ALTHOUGH i did not change anything only straight building from svn…

Does anyone have any idea where that comes from ?

Hi pachacute,
there are several ways to achiev that:
This is what I did:
1) checkout the head revision from the alfresco svn
2) use eclipse to import the projects and the ant buildfile the run that file as Antbuild from eclipse.

<url-pattern>/faces/*</url-pattern>
for this
<url-pattern>/navigate/*</url-pattern>.

when i leave the firs line the system show me this error

net.sf.acegisecurity.AuthenticationServiceException: Failed to open passthru auth session

when I leave the second line the system show me the same mistake yours
