WorkflowService and custom event

Hi,

According to the documentation for jBPM it is possible to use
custom events, by calling the method fireEvent() on Node.

As far as I can see this functionality is not available through
the WorkflowService. Is there any way to do this ?
Will it change in version 2.1 ?

There isn't a way in 2.0, however, this is a useful addition. I'm working on workflow enhancements as we speak. If you raise a JIRA issue, I'll see if I can get it into 2.1.
